Internet Resources
- The National Association for Gifted Children - wide range of resources, including state by state lists of contacts and laws. They have an annual convention for parents of gifted children.
- Hoagie's Gifted Education Page - an incredible resource for all aspects of education and parenting.
Local Resources
- Super Saturday - a weekend enrichment program for gifted children in Cincinnati for ages 4-14. Classes are held in buildings on the UC campus.
- The Schilling School - an award winning private school for gifted children located on Cornell Road, just outside the 275 loop. They accept students from K-12.
- John Scott Academy - From their website: "John Scott Academy is a grades 7-12 school - full-time, part-time, online, class time - for gifted and talented students who come with unique learning styles that do not "fit the system" - and who may also be twice exceptional or have multiple exceptionalities." The school is located on Symmes Road in Fairfield.
Mensa Resources
- Mensa for Kids - a website hosted by MERF (the Mensa Education and Research Foundation), this site emphasizes games and activities for gifted kids but also has information for parents and educators.
- Mensa's Gifted Children's page - has an assortment of information about identifying gifted children, joining Mensa and support for parents. Included is a list of books for parents, characteristics of the gifted and a parent's guide to identifying gifted children.
- Bright Kids list-serve - sponsored by Mensa, this list is open to all who are interested in talking about raising and educating bright children.
