III. Move to approve the August Meeting Minutes – 6/0/0 Approved
IV. Reports
A. Treasurer’s Report – Paulette Wilson – Move to accept the Treasurer’s Report w/ noted changes by CE Reutter – 7/0/0 Approved
B. LocSec’s Report – Rick Magnus – Mensa Testing Day will be help Oct 18, 2008 at the Wyoming Public Library. National membership, 50,928. Bids are now being accepted for Mind Games 2010. Mensa to be featured in a 60 Minutes segment. Registration for Colloquium 2009, ‘Weather or Not’. Sep 30 is the final day for $65 AG registrations. Move to give Mensa Education Research Journal subscription to Heidi Macneal by Virginia Plottel – 7/0/0 Accepted.
C. Membership – John Cunningham – Two new members, six renewals (four from a lapse greater than one year), one transfer in, one transfer out. Total CAM membership, 346.
D. Mind Games – Rick Magnus – 95 registrations for Mind Games 2009.
E. Election – 13 candidates for Excomm. Election notifications must be sent to members.
F. Activities – GenX camping trip cancelled. Holloween party at CE Reutter’s on Oct 18 at 3PM. Wear your costumes and bring a dish. Anti-Thanksgiving (Spam dishes) party Nov 8 (location?).
V. New Business
A. Future Meetings – 10/12 @ CE’s, 11/9 TBD
