I. Call to Order – 1712
II. Attendance: Rick Magnus, Peggy Stapleton, Virginia Plottel, Heidi Macneal, CE Reutter, Bryan Mott, Bob Charlton
III. Motion to approve September’s minutes by Heidi Macneal – 6/0/0 Approved
IV. Reports
A. Treasurer’s Report – Paulette Wilson - move to receive the Treasurer’s Report for audit by CE – 6/0/0 Approved
B. Membership Report – John Cunningham – 2 renewals, 1 transfer in, 1 renewal after a one year lapse, 5 new members. Total CAM membership – 355
C. Election – 19 Ballots are in
D. Scholarship – Tom Vonderahe – Application forms are available on the national scholarship web site. Submissions to be sent to Tom’s address. The deadline for mailings to schools is Jan 15. Envelopes need to be stuffed in preparation for the mailings.
V. Old Business
A. Mind Games – Rick Magnus – 98 registrations
B. Move to offer to lend some of the CAM equipment to Penn Mensa for their AG at no cost by Heidi Macneal – 7/0/0 Approved
C. Past Activities – GenX haunted house event was not well attended.
D. Tim Link, former excomm member passed away.
VI. New Business
A. Activities – GenX Party, Anti-Thanksgiving CAM Spam Jam on Nov. 15. Attendees are encouraged to wear Hawaiian shirt to honor Hawaii as the #1 Spam consuming state. GenX are having a bonfire party on Nov 8; bring things you’d like to burn. Discussion about having another Nursing home event – generally accepted.
B. Move to allow Misty Richmond to negotiate for hotel accommodations for the ’09 RG by Rick Magnus – 7/0/0 Approved
C. Future Excomm meetings – 11/9 @ Heidi’s, 12/13 @ CE (followed by the Survivor Party)
VII. Good and Welfare
A. Condolences to Stephanie and Tim’s family. Words cannot express our sorrow for the loss of Tim Link.
B. Best wishes for a speedy recovery for Tom Vonderahe.
