  1. Call to Order – Bob Charlton 1727
  2. Attendance
    1. Excomm Members – Virginia Plottel, Peggy Stapleton, Rick Magnus, Bob Charlton, Bryan Mott
    2. Visitors – Nancy Core, John Cunningham, Kim LeBlanc
  3. Correction/Approval of Minutes of meeting held 7/13/08.  Move to accept July minutes pending changes by Rick Magnus – 5/0/0 Approved.
  4. Reports
    1. Treasurer’s Report – See July 2008 CAM Financial Report.  Under "Ending Book Balance", strike "note: Balance include(s) money for 2008 Scholarships".  Move to receive June and July 08 Treasurer Reports by Rick Magnus – 5/0/0 Approved.
    2. Membership – Two new members, eight renewals, and one transfer out.  CAM has 338 members.
    3. LocSec – Free LSAT evaluation during August.  The deadline for submissions of Candidate Information Forms is Friday, August 15, 2008.  Colloquium 2008, Tracking Granny’s Granny on September 12-14, 2008.  Colloquium 2009, Weather or Not on February 27-March 1, 2009.  Mensa Testing Day will be held on October 18, 2008.  Mensa Boutique is having an embroidered shirt sale.
    4. Scholarship – Checks have been disbursed to the winners.
    5. Mencinnation – Too many Copies of Mencinnatian were printed for August's issue.
    6. Activities – CAM group won second place at 'Col M Picks’ at the Columbus RG.
    7. Mind Games – There are now 85 registrations for Mind Games 2009.
  5. New Business
    1. Site Coordinator Polly Grismeyer has offered her resignation.  Rick Magnus moves to accept Polly's resignation.  5/0/0 Approved.  Marty Meighen has offered to become the new Site Coordinator.  Rick Magnus moves to accept Marty Meighen as the new Site Coordinator.  5/0/0 Approved
    2. Activities – The GenX camping trip will be held on September 12-14, 2008.
    3. Roster – The Roster is printed every other year.  Rick Magnus receives a clean data file every month and would like to post it on the web site in either September or November.
    4. Future Excomm Meetings – 9/14 @ Virginia Plottel’s, 10/12 @ CE Reuters’s (tentative), 11/9 @ TBD

    1. Move to thank for Polly Grismeyer for her service as Site Coordinator by Bob Charlton. 5/0/0 Approved.
    2. Move to thank Peggy Stapleton for hosting the August Excomm meeting by Virginia Plottel.  5/0/0 Approved.
